Yahav Zohar - Senior Tour Guide
Yahav was born in Jerusalem and has lived in the city all his life. He has been a journalist, a translator, a political activist and a spokesperson for human rights and a sustainable political solution in Israel-Palestine.

His work as a guide throughout Israel, combines his extensive historical and religious knowledge  with a firm grasp of the political situation, gained through years of involvement with Combatants For Peace, the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions and other peace and human rights initiatives.

Yahav supervises the Orientation tours for the Volunteer Program and conducts some of the tours. He is a partner in the Green Olive Collective and responsible for maintaining the standards of the guides.

Fred Schlomka - Director
Fred as been involved professionally with Israeli/Palestinian relationships since the 1990s. In 2003 Fred was awarded a Social Entrepreneur Fellowship from the Echoing Green Foundation in New York for his work on the Ground in Israel/Palestine

Fred founded Green Olive Tours in 2007 and has overseen the development of the Green Olive Collective as a Palestinian/Israeli partnership.

He began to develop the framework of the Volunteer Program in 2012, leading to the launch of the new Volunteer Portal in 2014. Fred continues to take an active role in many aspects of the organisation
