Women's Empowerment and Development This organisation protects and empowers women and girls-at-risk. Gardening is used as a means of solace and healing. This project also has developed a retail shop in Jaffa's Old City to employ some of their clients and help fund the program. Volunteers for this project need to be especially sensitive towards women and girls who are from underprivileged backgrounds and who may have been abused.

Youth Development - Balata Refugee Camp A wide variety of after-school programs and camps for refugee children. These young people are among the most deprived in the West Bank, and are encouraged to sublimate their anger and pain through art, sport, and academic excellence.
